Cloud Architecture & Solution Design

Landing zones and Well-Architected reviews — designed for the environment you're actually building, not the one that was easiest to provision.

The problem

Architecture decisions made under deadline pressure are the ones you pay for later.

Most cloud environments are not designed. They accumulate — one account here, one exception there, a networking decision made to hit a launch date and never revisited. None of it is wrong in isolation. All of it compounds.

Good architecture is not about using every AWS service available. It is about designing for the environment you are actually creating, with room for what comes after it.

How it works
01

Landing zone design.

Multi-account structure, networking, identity, and a security baseline — the foundation every workload after it depends on.

02

Well-Architected Framework review.

An assessment against AWS's own six pillars, with specific, prioritised findings — not a generic report you have to interpret yourself.

03

Reference architecture & design documentation.

Written architecture your team can actually build from and maintain, not a diagram that only makes sense in the meeting it was presented in.

04

Ongoing architecture advisory.

For decisions that come up after the initial design — new workloads, new requirements, new scale — a second set of senior eyes before you commit.

FAQ
Do you only work with new environments?

No — a Well-Architected review is often most valuable on an environment that's been running for years, since that's exactly where undocumented decisions accumulate.

What does a landing zone actually include?

Account structure (often via AWS Organizations), networking (VPC design, connectivity), identity (IAM, SSO), logging, and a security baseline — built and tested before any workload moves in.

Can you work alongside our existing cloud team?

Yes — most architecture engagements are advisory and design-focused, with your team retaining implementation ownership, though we can implement directly if that's the better fit.
